Das sind wohl die Jasper (BB) Big Block
Die kommen wohl erst mit der 2ten fuhre und die sind Limitiert.
Ich habe einer der ersten Elite Jasper, ich denke da ist ein 256èr drin?
Muss bei gelegenheit mal nachschauen ....
Der einzigste der die Konsole bisher offen hatte war M tha MaN .....

Ich hab absichtlich den Begriff Big Block nicht genutzt
Der wird irrtümlicherweise nur für die 256/512er benutzt, es gibt aber auch 16MB Big Block Konsolen.
Du siehst ganz einfach was für ne Konsole du hast wenn du die Konsole ohne HDD startest und dann in die Einstellungen gehst und dann auf Speicher. Steht nichts ist es ne Jasper 16MB, irgendwas mit 200 dann ists ne 256MB und wenn was mit 480 dran steht ists ne 512er
Ich frag deshalb, weil ich meine Kiste nun vielleicht doch endlich mal modden will.......
Das Ding is quasi DIE all-in-one Lösung wenn ich das richtig verstehe, oder?
Was hat´s mit Fusion auf sich? So nennt sich die Firmware für den Demon wenn ich das richtig verstehe, oder?
Warten oder Demon kaufen? .....oder nen anderen, Chip......
Wozu is denn eigentlich der Coolrunner von TX gut? bzw. warum soll ich 50 für nen Demon hinlegt wenn ich nen CR RevC für nicht mal 20 haben kann?

Der Demon ist ein Dual NAND Chip, sprich, wenn du eine RGH Konsole haben willst, mit der du über XBOX Live spielen willst, brauchst du einen originalen NAND und einen hacked NAND.
Früher ging das nur mit 2 Konsolen, jetzt kann man solche Dual NAND Chips dafür nutzen.
Im Gegensatz zum Coolrunner, welcher ein Glitchchip ist (der sendet das Signal für den Glitch (ist zwar arg Laienhaft ausgedrückt aber hier gehts ja nur ums Verständnis)) ist der Demon ein Dual NAND Chip mit integrierten NAND Flasher.
Hat man den Demon verbaut muss man die Konsole auch nicht öffnen wenn man mal die Box "zerflashen" sollte.
Hab jetzt mal ohne HDD unter den Einstellungen Speicher geschaut.
Da kommt nur Keine Speichergeräte gefunden.
Also kann ich davon ausgehen das ich 16MB SB oder BB habe?!
Da hilf wohl nur Aufmachen ......

Ja. ich hatte vor kurzem eine Konsole hier, ohne HDD wurde kein Speicher angezeigt. Mir wurde aber immer angezeigt es sei eine Jasper 256 MB. Mit HDD war dann auch die interne MU zu erkennen
Aber das ist das erste mal gewesen dass sowas passiert, im Regelfall hat man, wenn keine MU erkannt wird auch eine Jasper 16 MB.

The updated RGH3 is giving great timings on our test machines (both Trinity & Corona are glitching amazingly well (1,1,2,1,1,1,1,1,2,1.....).

When hooked up to a new QSB system that we will show you soon and the new J-R programmer v2, the J-Runner software will automatically test your glitch settings for you giving an overall score in performance (this is fully automatic including console resets!)
There are several timing settings that we found to work across our test machines so we included them all on the CoolRunner v3 - so you can simply test each setting and stick with the best RATER score. The average timings can be taken over a few tests or hundreds - even thousands (example we tested a machine with 1500 and found its highest rater score to show that 83% of its glitches were in its very first glitch cycle!)

We have decided to release some of our code that will glitch 16MB Corona's using a CoolRunner or any other standard XC2C64A based glitch board.
It's still RGH2 based and is no where near as good and fast and reliable as the CoolRunner 3 / RGH3 - but for those that want to have a play until then, you can easily do a DIY upgrade by adding a crystal and changing a couple of components.
A NAND-X or JR programmer v1 can still be used to read/write the 16MB NAND.
The pic shows a Rev A, we're just putting together the info for the Rev B and Rev C too and will get all of that code and parts info posted shortly.
CPU RESET Cleaner Shipping This Week !
One of the main problems for RGH2 users (and some RGH1 too), is the quality of the CPU_RST line. Over the last couple of weeks we have seen some great results on our forums with various methods of combining different capacitors and resistors to give a really nice performance boost (some guys went from not glitching at all to 10 seconds !)
We have designed this very nice addon board which with have simply called the COOLRUNNER CPU RESET CLEANER.
You can easily select resistor Combos of 1K, 2K and 3.3K, and capacitor combos of 470pF, 560pF and 680pF - these are all of the values that gave the very best results.

JR Programmer v1 Speed Upgrade
The new JR programmer v2 read/writes MUCH faster than the v1 so we have taken the speed tech we used and made a simple upgrade PCB for the v1 to give it the new v2 speeds (now almost as fast as the NAND-X !). The upgrade is being manufactured next week and will be available to buy from all good Xecuter Stockists for only $4.95
